Where is the leasing office located?
As you enter Windmill Drive you will see our leasing office on the left behind the Windmill Townhomes sign. It has a blue awning over the door. Make an appointment for prompt service.
Are rents per bedroom?
No, rents are for the entire apartment. We do not rent per bedroom.

Do I need a guarantor?
If applicants do not have a combined gross monthly income of at least six times monthly rent, each applicant must have a guarantor. Guarantors will need to fill out a Lease Contract Guaranty Application.

Are pets allowed?
No dogs allowed.
Cats allowed with a $300 non-refundable pet fee for each cat.
Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking is available on-site with a parking permit.
There are no charges unless a parking permit is lost.
Do your apartments come furnished?
No, our apartments do not come furnished.

What appliances are included?
Each unit has an in-unit washer and dryer, frost-free refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, and garbage disposal.

What utilities are included?
Trash and recycling are included. Tenants are responsible for electricity and water. On average, electricity is about $100 and water is about $50 per month.

Do I need to turn on utilities?
Electricity needs to be connected under a resident's name.
Call 512-393-8383 or visit the San Marcos Utilities website. Residents do not need to connect water.

What is the trash situation like?
Free trash dumpsters & recycling available for townhome residents only.

Is there pest control?
There is quarterly pest control and residents can request additional pest control as needed.
​
Is maintenance available?
We have excellent and fast on-site maintenance. Tenants can request maintenance online in our resident portal. Additionally, team members are on call for emergency maintenance.

How do I get internet?
Residents can shop for an internet plan with Spectrum (Learn More).
​
How long is my lease?
Leases generally run from late July to June 30th the following year.
​
When do I move in?
You can move in around the end of July.
​
How can I pay the Application Fee and Deposit?
We accept Venmo (@windmilltownhomes), check, or money order. Payments for other charges should be made on RENTCafe.com.
